About me
I am very passionate about the usefulness & benefits of Mindfulness.
I have been practising mindfulness for about 14 years which has been transformative personally. I am also an Accredited Counsellor and use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for my clients, which combines mindfulness with a number of other cognitive & behavioural techniques - this is a scientific & evidence-based model.
My experience has shown me that nearly everyone would benefit from learning these skills involved in therapy including Mindfulness.
So i decided to start ‘Calm the Mind’ group sessions without the therapeutic component per se. So many people could benefit from learning these skills & i can deliver them to small groups, especially family or friend groups, that could support each other through this learning process.
