Weekly counselling sessions available in Maidstone Town Centre using an Acceptance & Commitment Therapy approach. This combines Mindfulness with cognitive & behavioural methods which is a good choice for a wide variety of difficulties including depression, sadness, anxiety, stress, & addictions.

 

This type of therapy has become popular in recent times because you take an active role in learning a number of skills and processes. Both in session & via audio exercises you will learn a more effective way of dealing with the mind & our psychological distress.

This cutting edge type of therapy transforms how we think about our distress & our relationship to it. You will learn processes & skills for difficult feelings, emotions, moods, thoughts, ruminations, & addictive behaviours. 

You will learn to have more conscious control by reducing or switching off our many ‘autopilots’ that we have that take over & are often problematic. Also you will learn to live more in the present moment & have more vitality in your life.

CALM THE MIND GROUP CLASSES

In small groups with your family or friends, learn to calm the mind and increase your wellbeing by learning a number of skills and processes to deal with our difficult emotions & our overthinking minds.

You will learn a number of evidence based skills including; Mindfulness meditation, Mindful acceptance, Dealing with thoughts & the mind, and Living more in the present moment. With family or friends you can talk together about what you’ve learned & support each other throughout the sessions which has many benefits.
