Calm the Mind Group Classes
Learn to Calm the Mind in small groups of family or friends
Can you get together a small group (2, 3 or 4) of friends or family to learn together a number of skills and processes to calm the mind & nervous system and live more in the present moment?

When learning together you get the benefit of talking through what you're learning & supporting each other. You will learn a number of skills including:

Dealing with our problematic thinking mind

Living more in the present moment

Mindfulness meditation

Moving towards changes or goals you may have
As nearly all of us struggle to varying degrees with psychological distress, it makes sense to learn a broad set of skills that deal with this distress.In fact, for many people if their problems & distresses are relatively mild or moderate then these group based sessions can be a cheaper alternative to counselling.
These group sessions involve learning in sessions, & outside sessions via audio exercises & practicing the skills informally in your everyday experience. There is not a rigid protocol as different groups work at different speeds & may have a different focus. However, the likelihood is between 6 & 10 sessions, but there’s no minimum so it’s completely your choice.

Sessions available & rates:
1 Hour sessions
1.5 Hour
2 Hour sessions
4 People in Group = £30 each person per hourly session
3 People in Group = £40 each person per hourly session
2 People in Group = £50 each person per hourly session
Note: Max of 4 persons at Maidstone Counselling Centre
Alternatively, the session could be at a place or venue you provide.
